Unfolded Wings
2023 Blue Mood Records | Johanna Demker released her timeless Americana-album on the 14th of April, 2023. “Unfolded Wings" is a statement, a comeback and an introduction at the same time, it shows how she has matured as a songwriter. This is the album that I have always wanted to make, says Johanna. While previous releases have been postcards of the present, this album is intended as a monument to her songwriting career thus far.

Out of Our Minds
2019 Blue Mood Records | Johanna picked up an old collaboration from the late 90´s with Norwegian singer-songwriter Alf Bretteville. Their duo-project TRUDY & DAVE saw the light of day in 2016. They have been writing and playing together since, and their first album Out of Our Minds was released in March 2020 on Blue Mood Records; making them part of the Labelmates show which played at Royal Albert Hall in London 10. November 2019.
Allt och Ingenting
2014 VOJ Records | Recorded and co-produced with Arve Furset in Oslo, Johanna’s 2014 album features Swedish guitar-legend Georg “Jojje” Wadenius, as well as Egil Stemkens in charge of the bass-work, Nikolai Grasaasen on guitar and Richard Gjems demonstrates his remarkable harmonica-playing. While receiving fantastic reviews, many fans believe the album is a hidden pearl among Scandinavian recordings.
Madness
2011 DaWorks | Recorded in Spydeberg Studios by Lars Voldsdal, the album is driven by electric rock-country energy. Johanna combines melodic vocals with a traditional American rock sound supported by bassist Egil Stemkens and guitarist Lars Håvard Haugen from the Hellbillies.
From an Outlined Silhouette
2009 DaWorks |Considered a favorite by Johanna’s fanbase, From An Outlined Silhouette is an Americana-driven album produced and recorded by Vidar Løvstad. Three of the four singles on the album made national radio NRK radio playlist that year. The second single ”Change” also made playlisting on Swedish national radio.
Pictures of Me
2004 Grappa Musikkforlag | After collaborating with songwriters in Europe, Johanna experimented with a more pop oriented sound on her second album Pictures of Me. This album was a result of working in the “Hit-making industry” for some years, a stop in the pop world before returning to her Americana roots.
Things We Do
2001 Grappa Musikkforlag | Johanna’s first solo album, with the hit song ”True Love”. The song caught the attention of ‘TV2´s Hit Awards’ and was nominated for Norwegian Top 5 radio lists that year. Universal France re-recorded the song with french lyrics as ”J´attends l´amour” with popular artist Jenifer. The french version sold over two million copies, topping the hit-lists for months in 2002.
